If you're like me, you love yourself some pizza. It seems like there are so many pizza places in every town now, they're a dime a dozen. Rustique Pizzeria breaks away from your normal pizza joint. For starters, their restaurant is located in an old church. It has some a one of a kind feel thanks to this feature. I honestly don't know how to describe Rustique. It has just a beautiful vibe. In the summer you can sit out on their deck and enjoy some pizza along with good company. Seriously, just writing this makes me want to head to Rustique for a pizza.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Odds are it'll be busy, it's usually a popular spot. Trust me, it's worth it to stick it out and have a drink or two at the bar while you wait for your spot. Their pizza is made in a brick oven, which results in a nice crispy crust that's still chewy. Also, expect to see some interesting combinations of pizzas. They're always coming up with different specialty pizzas to roll out.
My go-to menu item: the Conquistador pizza / Pepperoni pizza
